Maybelline's Lash Stiletto

I'm sorry for neglecting you guys. It seems like everything piles on at once, plus the friend w/breast cancer that I mentioned in a previous post recently passed away (she's not suffering anymore, thank goodness).

On a brighter note, I figured I'd mention my latest purchase, Maybelline's Lash Stiletto. My overall impression is very positive. Not only is the packaging slick & classy, but this stuff lengthens like nobody's business! It also held the curling I gave my lashes pretty well. Great lengthening ability & slick packaging, what's not to like?

Blinc Mascara

Well, I've finally had the opportunity to try Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara & Eyeliner (Thanks Molly!). My overall impression of this is better than my impression of L'Oreal's Double Extension mascara (No surprise there, since Blinc was the original innovator.). Since this mascara doesn't automatically come w/a primer (sold seperately), I used the primer that came w/my L'Oreal mascara to give my lashes some oomph. My impressions?

• One, this stuff held my curl & stayed put for hours w/o smudging
• Two, this mascara (& eyeliner) was significantly easier to remove than L'Oreal's mascara
• Last, but definitely not least, this mascara didn't leave my lashes feeling dry & brittle. YAY!

If you get this mascara, I recommend you get a lash primer as well. On it's own it doesn't give enough oomph to the lashes. However, the smudge-free staying power makes it worth it. Overall, I really like this mascara & eyeliner!
