I used to love coloring my hair. My first color was a pretty burgundy. Next It was pretty dark mahogony brown, which I loved even more. However, as my chemical sensitivities got worse, I found I could no longer handle my favorite hair dye. :(
So, I started looking into the natural hair dyes that you can find at health food stores. YIKES! I was used to paying about $10 for a box of my other dye, but these ran anywhere from $20-$30 a pop! I knew I couldn't afford that. So, I kinda gave up.
Flash forward to this evening, I'm perusing the Sally Beauty Supply website when I spot this - Bigen's Powder Haircolor. According to the website it "contains no ammonia" & it has "no heavy masking odor".
Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? The question is whether it holds up well to those claims. I'm curious to know if any of you, my readers, have tried this. Did you have issues w/this & do you usually have issues w/chemicals? I'm really curious because I'd love to be able to color my hair again.
