Fruit Pigmented Cosmetics?

I've just learned about a fairly new company (100% Pure) that uses fruit & vegetable pigments to color their makeup. How cool is that! It looks like most of their single-item products range around $13, whereas palettes are more.

Their site makes the following statement: "The first and only cosmetics colored from antioxidant rich fruit and vegetable pigments. While other color cosmetics are colored with either synthetic dyes or minerals, only 100% Pure color cosmetics are colored with fruit & vegetable pigments (patents pending)! All the antioxidants and vitamins in fruits are in the actual color, so you will be applying all the healthy nutrients of the fruits directly on your skin!"

Their lip butter got a rave review on megsmakeup.com. Have any of you, my readers, tried any of their products? Sound off in the comments!

Golden Champagne & Bronze Look

I do a look w/Revlon's champagne eyeglide & a bronze eyeshadow. Sorry the sound is out of sync, it wasn't when I uploaded it. I wonder how that happened?

New From L.A. Girl

L.A. Girl has added several new products to their lineup. Among them are their Mark My Eyes & Fineliner liquid liners (Fineliner looks more interesting to me), a new matte nail polish (I prefer gloss & shimmer, but evidently this is trendy right now), and some creme lipsticks.

I'm more interested in the liners & the lipsticks personally. What do you, my readers, think of these new products? Love 'em? Hate 'em? Curious, but haven't tried 'em yet? Let me know in the comments! :)

Claire's Makeup Kits

Claire's has released some makeup palettes to create 3 different looks: PopRockz, Sunkissed, & ReVamped.

I've tried some of their eye palettes before & liked them, the pigmentation was pretty good. So, I'm pretty curious about these.

Have any of you, my readers, caught a glimpse of these or even bought one (or all)? If so, what were you're impressions of the product? Tell me in the comments!

Coastal Scents 88 Metal Mania Palette

Metallic eyeshadow lovers rejoice! Coastal Scents has come out with a new 88 eyeshadow palette that is nothing but metallic colors.

Foil, pack, & sweep to your hearts content with these pigmented colors! Pigmented? Well, if they're anything like the Coastal Scents 88 Palettes I already own, then yes, these are nicely pigmented.

Is anyone else excited about this palette, or am I just overly giddy? Lol, let me know what you think in the comments!

EcoTools Eye Brush Set

I have some EcoTools brushes already & I really like them, they're so soft. I'm really lusting after this particular set though. I've read some good things about this particular set too.

So, I have to ask, have any of you among my readers tried this particular set & what did you think? I really want to try it.

Peacock Smokey Revisited

Peacock Smokey using my CoverGirl Tropical Fusion Quad.

In the one still image I have my face turned to the side to show the eye that came out better. One eye always winds up looking better, what's up w/that? Lol.

Oops, looks like I overdid the blush a tad. I guess blush is something I'm still getting a handle on. Oh well.

Nail Art: Water Marbling

I have attempted nail art on many occassions. Unfortunately, the detail required is beyond the abilities of a shaky handed klutz like me, lol. How someone could paint a detailed picture on top of a tiny pinhead was something I could never fathom.

However, I may have discovered a technique that even a klutz can accomplish. And that technique is known as Water Marbling. It looks pretty simple to do & the effect is really cool. I discovered this technique from youtube user annasbeautysecrets in the video shown below.

Check it out, I think you'll find it really interesting. Once I've got it down I may do a video of my own.

I haven't tested the long-wearing ability of this yet, this is basically just my 1st impressions of this product.

Jordana Eye Primer/Base

CherryCulture.com has some new products available & a Jordana Eye Primer/Base is one of them. Their eye base is only $1.99. I wonder what the level of quality is w/this particular product.

I've heard good things about their liners, though as yet I haven't had an opportunity to try them. What do you think of Jordana products overall & would you try their eyebase?
