New NYX Products

I was perusing the new products section on NYX's website & noticed that they have several new items available.

As shown in the photo, there are some retractable eyeliners (& lipliners), some lip plumping glosses, a new palette, & a new matte lipstick. The shocking pink shade of the matte lipstick looks like it might be really pretty.

Review: Schick Intuition Natural Sensitive Care

A razor that's easy to get a grip on, doesn't give you razor burn, & is good for sensitive skin? Enter the Schick® Intuition Natural Sensitive Care shaver! It was sent to me by a PR rep of the company. However, since I do not have enough hair to warrant shaving, I have turned this item over to my sister to review. The following are her thoughts on this product.

"First, I have to say that I love the packaging! Natural colors on Recycled materials, nice layout & design of info. Then, when I opened the package, I really liked that I could have a women's shaver that wasn't pink or sissy. Can you tell I don't like pink? Anyway, the handle fits comfortably in the hand & has a nice rubbery texture that doesn't slip, even when it is wet. Very important when you are passing four sharp blades very close to your skin!

I used it on my legs first & then I used it on my underarms. It was easy. Just like putting on deodorant. A few passes under each arm & I received a close shave & I didn't have any breakouts from creams or gels!

I LOVE it! Yes, LOVE...

Is that too strong a word for a women's shaver? Maybe. But that is what I feel. The moisturizer soothed my skin & kept me from the dreaded "razor-burn". The natural ingredients are mild and have a very light scent. This is so very important to me, because I have extremely sensitive skin & MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity). So I stay away from shaving creams & gels, even the ones for sensitive skin.

Would I buy this product? Yes, I definitely would & will. :)"

The Fresh Air Fund

Not beauty related, but I was asked to blog this in the past & I felt it was definitely worthy of a mention. I am posting to remind everyone about it.
