Claire's Makeup Kits

Claire's has released some makeup palettes to create 3 different looks: PopRockz, Sunkissed, & ReVamped.

I've tried some of their eye palettes before & liked them, the pigmentation was pretty good. So, I'm pretty curious about these.

Have any of you, my readers, caught a glimpse of these or even bought one (or all)? If so, what were you're impressions of the product? Tell me in the comments!

Coastal Scents 88 Metal Mania Palette

Metallic eyeshadow lovers rejoice! Coastal Scents has come out with a new 88 eyeshadow palette that is nothing but metallic colors.

Foil, pack, & sweep to your hearts content with these pigmented colors! Pigmented? Well, if they're anything like the Coastal Scents 88 Palettes I already own, then yes, these are nicely pigmented.

Is anyone else excited about this palette, or am I just overly giddy? Lol, let me know what you think in the comments!

Eyes: Lt. beige shimmer all over lid w/taupey-brown in the crease from Wet n Wild's Ultimate Expressions Eye Palette. N.Y.C.'s Smooth Mineral Liner Powder in Black Onyx w/Maybelline's liner brush to create a "cat-eye" liner along w/some LashStiletto mascara.
Lips: e.l.f. lip pencil in bitter covered w/Wet-n-Wild's Silk Finish Lipstick in 526B.

This April Cargo will be releasing a collection of "eco-chic" cosmetics. The brand promises 100% natural cosmetics that is also good for our planet, plus it is "the only prestige brand of make-up to have been granted the ECOCERT® seal of approval."

Every item in the collection is free from parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, synthetic dyes and fragrances (Good for people like me w/sensitivities). The collection's lipstick cases and compacts are made of a polymer completely derived from corn (Good for the environment).

All serious info aside, what do you guys think of this collection? I think the lipsticks look gorgeous & I'm really loving the groovy packaging! So, based on apearances, what do you think so far? Love it? Hate it? So so? Tell me!

FOTD: e.l.f. Drama

I grabbed this screenshot from a frame in my e.l.f. Drama YouTube video, which explains the odd epression on my face. Lol!

For my eyes I used the elf Drama eyeshadow quad. On my lips I used N.Y.C. lipstick in Cafe w/N.Y.C. Liquid Lipshine in Cappucino in the center pout.

Eyes: An eye look w/different Tints & Shades of Pink eyeshadow from a Diamond Cosmetics palette.
Lips: N.Y.C. Liquid Lipshine in Iced Orchid (Pink w/a subtle golden shimmer, very pretty!).

The 3 colors on my lids: a pewter gray color from a claire's palette (foiled), NYX black pearl eyeshadow (outer corner & crease), N.Y.C. Mineral Liner Powder in Black Onyx (as a liner & to add some extra oomph to the outer corner & crease).

On my lips: N.Y.C. Liquid Lipshine in Cappuccino.

For this look I used SallyGirl eyeshadow in Purple Passion (foiled), The 2 darkest colors in Maybelline eyeshadow quad Violet Vibes, & N.Y.C. mineral liner powder for my lashline. Then, on my lips I used N.Y.C. Liquid Lipshine in Pink Kiss. Of course, I'm inexperienced & have much to learn, but I just like to have fun!

I'm still very inexperienced, but here's my blue & turquoise look. The muted blue is L'Oreal H.I.P. in Beckoning & the Vibrant Turquoise is SallyGirl eyeshadow in Turquoise (I believe this can be bought @ any Sally's Beauty Supply), the lipgloss is L'Oreal H.I.P. ShineStruck Liquid Lipcolor in Splendid. Hope you like!

Wet n Wild Ultimate Expressions

I've heard some good reviews on YouTube about Wet n Wild's Ultimate Expressions eye palette, so I decided to snag a couple at my local Walgreens. In one particular review, the individual swatched some of the Paradise Cove colors over an eye base (which is what I've done) & was amazed at the level of pigmentation in a drugstore product.

Well, I've tried this & I really like it! For a drugstore product the pigmentation is great, as you can see in the swatches. Unfortunately, the swatches don't really showcase the pretty shimmer & texture very well. But believe me when I say that these colors are very pretty & I love them! They're about 5 bucks a piece, unless you get a BOGO deal like I did. Very pretty!
