NOTD: Pink Glitter Nails
I'm generally not a huge fan of glitter polishes. Some glitter polishes are
patchy & chunky, you can see patches of your nail in between the
glitter chunks. Not a good look. Well, here's a glittery nail polish that I feel differently about.

NOTD: Deep Red Nails
This fall is all about the color oxblood. I'm personally not fond of that term (gross!), but that's what they're calling it. Etsy even did an email showing all the items available for sale in this color. What is it?

Target Mini Haul

The formula on these lipsticks are actually pretty good, they give nice coverage. Pretty impressive for a buck. The only downside is the stupid packaging. The lipsticks don't go all the way down, there's always a little bit sticking out the top, which increases your chances of smashing your lipstick. GRR!
I picked up the essie nail lacquer because I've been looking for the perfect nude nail color. Unfortunately, I don't think I've found it yet, lol. This is a cool color, but it's not a nude. It's more like a very light coffee. Like a lot of cream w/a bit of coffee thrown in for good measure. :) Coverage is about 3 coats. A nice nail color, but the search for the perfect nude continues. Do you guys happen to know of a perfect nude nail color that has really good or at least decent coverage? Let me know in the comments! :)

Minty e.l.f. Nails

The color I'm wearing in the photo is called Blue Mist, which is a pretty minty green shade. If you are a patient person than by all means, get this. Otherwise, you might find applying multiple coats for full opacity a bit trying. I must've applied 4-5 coats. It's very sheer. I don't know if the other shades in this set are also like this or not. I'll have to wait & see what I think.
On the flip-side, once you finish applying it, it really is a pretty shade. It's just a pain in the butt to apply so many coats, especially after the 1-2 coat goodness of the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail color.
In conclusion, if you are patient about your nail color application then go ahead & get this because it really is pretty once you're finished. Otherwise, I'd say skip it.

Nails: Fast Dry, Opaque, Pop of Color!

The shade shown in the photo is brisk blue, which is a gorgeous cyan blue. Not only is it fast drying, but you get gorgeous, what-you-see-is-what-you-get, full coverage in 1-2 coats.
I also got this nail color in the shades flashy fuschia & lively lilac & I look forward to trying them! What do you think of these? Let me know in the comments! :)

Mark Nail Color Duo

This is the Ibiza Sol Nailed It Trend Mini Lacquers. I'm really digging the mint green color (mojito) in this duo, it looks so pretty!
What do you guys, my readers, think of mark's nail color duos? Love 'em? Hate 'em? Let me know in the comments! :)
I've recently signed up to be a mark rep. This in no way effects my opinions. I will always give honest reviews & I will always use a variety of brands that I love. For more info, please see my disclosure page. Thank You! :)

Review: Rimmel Nail Color

Fortunately, there is. Several brands have now incorporated a wide flat brush for ease in application & Rimmel's Lasting Finish Pro Nail Enamel is one of them.
As you can see in the photo I got the color Steel Grey, which I love. It's a gorgeous purpley-taupe shade! Now, on to the brush. I was able to apply this w/o any mishaps &, HOLY COW, it was so easy! The brush is wide enough to cover most of the nail, which results in not having to swipe the brush on the nail as much & it being flat definitely helps in spreading the color evenly. I love this brush!
The formula glided on super smooth w/o streaking or clumping & you only need 2 coats for good coverage or 3 for full opacity. I rather like the look of 2 coats, which is how many I'm wearing in the photo. As to whether or not this will last for 10 days like the product claims, I don't know. However, if you use a good topcoat you should be able to extend the wear of your nail color. Even if this doesn't last 10 days I love it & would buy it again because of the ease of application & the smoothness of the formula.
Have you, my readers, tried this product? What did you think of it? Let me know in the comments! :)

Orly @ CVS!

Yard Sale prep aside, I mentioned in a previous post the fact that Essie & Orly are carried at CVS. Now that I live near a CVS, I can benefit from that. :)
In my previous post, I showed some Essie colors that I thought were very pretty. Now I want to show you some gorgeous Orly colors I've got my eyes on!
In the image above there's some pretty shimmery neutrals, a couple bold pinks (1 creme & 1 shimmer), & a gorgeous bold & shimmery red (my fave of the bunch). Aren't these pretty!
I don't have spendable funds right now, but eventually I'd like to get me some pretty nail colors & with Orly & Essie at a nearby CVS, I think I'll find something I like! :)

Essie at CVS!

However, my hands have been gradually getting better & they look better than they have in a long time! So, I'm looking into nail colors again.
I was with my Sister at CVS the other day & discovered that they sell both Orly & Essie & I got excited at all the colors!
I didn't buy anything because money is short at the end of the month, but I'm keeping colors in mind for later. I don't have a bookmark for Orly's website (I'll have to rectify that), but I do have one for Essie.
So, I picked out the 4 Essie colors above that I thought look pretty. There was a color in store that I loved, but I don't remember the name. Anyhoo, I'm really excited at the prospect of pretty nail colors! :)
